Play hard, Date night with Emma, Curiosity

Saturday morning the kids woke up and ran outside to play with the neighbors. An hour or so later they were back with their friends hungry for cereal.  Good thing it was a sugar cereal day.  It is like the coolest thing when they get to eat a meal together. They were so silly and giddy.I am so glad they are making memories together.

 How great it is to see Gavin getting so big. He is loving all the freedom of playing with the BIG boys. He is on cloud nine the whole time.

Had my date night with Emma this week. We went to Chili's and then walked around the Metropolis mall. I am loving having this one on one time with each of the kids. I can tell they are loving it just as much. They are so appreciative the whole night. It amazes me how much they open up and talk about the cute boy in their class, or a super hard test just had, or how much they like their teacher.

This go around with the kids we took them out to dinner and then to a store to get something small. I think maybe next time we will do something active with them like go play tennis, basketball or frisbee at the park. Maybe a little dessert afterwards.

Seriously??? This girl is so . . .crazy!

Ethan came home with this little award from his teacher this week.  Go Ethan, way to be curious. It is a good skill.
