Since the older kids have dances and things to do on New Year's Eve we decided to celebrate the new year with family a day earlier and do it during the day. It was so nice to be with everyone and not have to worry about keeping the kids up until midnight. We enjoyed yummy food and then lots and lots of games. Our family has really started to enjoy family games. This is kind of a new thing. It is so fun to have everyone involved.

My mom and dad got BB-Q from one of our favorite places, Prairie House. So yummy and easy.
Family game of Catch Phrase. This was hilarious to play with everyone. People are pretty competitive in my family. Makes for lots of good laughs.

On actual New Year's Eve, Abby went to a church dance while the rest of us celebrated at home. We got fun loud poppers and jumped on the trampoline. Around 10:00 Lance and I went over to some good friends, the Stevens and played games with several other couples. It was a super fun night! Heres to a new year with lots of awesome changes.
