Abby had her end of the year party with her cheer squad at Olive Garden this week. We are grateful for the break in activities but so sad to see this year end. We are especially sad because Abby's coach announced that she is not going to coach next year. Her coach has been perfect. She is more interested in the girls being kind and polite. She is not super strict. She has awesome values herself and expects the same for the girls. The girls love her and want to talk to her about their personal lives and troubles. She never once made me feel bad for not participating in an activity on Sunday. She believed family should come first (the main reason she decided not to coach this year). We have been so fortunate. Here are a few pictures from our evening.

A girlfriend from church had a birthday this week so we celebrated with a brunch. Their were some yummy treats. Several cinnamon rolls and quiche. It was fun to get together with friends and enjoy fun conversation. Thanks to Sarah for hosting all of us in her brand new home.

I really do feel fortunate to have these neat people around me.
