Father and Son Campout

This past weekend Lance and the boys went on their annual Father's and Son campout with our church group. From what I heard it was lots of fun. It was Gavin's first time to camp and he was inthralled with the flashlight and whistle he got to wear. Lance was prepared to jump in the van to sleep since there was over 50% chance of rain. Thankfully, the weather was nice and they able to enjoy sleeping in a tent. Lance came home saying we need to go camping as a family.  We shall see.

As for the girls, we went to dinner at Five Guys (so yummy). Then the girls wanted to go get haircuts. Abby was a little disappointed with the cut she was given. Unfortunately, Supercuts treated her wrong, go figure. We should have known better, although Kate and Emma's haircuts went great.

We came home and roasted smores with our neighbors and then came back home and watched a movie with friends (Nicole, Sophia, and Amalia, Anna, Ben, and Emma)

It was a great weekend. Lance and the boys got home around 10am Saturday morning and napped for several hours.  Lance and I got away for a date night. Dinner and a movie. I love to look forward to our dates all week. It is what gets me through the week with a smile. Perfect ending to our week.
