We played lots and lots at our neighborhood pool.

Saturday morning we went to Lowe's for a little workshop that they were having. The kids got to bang around the hammer and make a cute little car. It was so much fun and was free!
Abby has been working on some small projects for her room. We had recently purchased this piece of furniture and then she painted it with homemade chalk paint. We loved the way it turned out.

One of the traditions we have when Leann comes is to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Now I know you would think that the older ones would be terribly bored but they weren't. In fact, I am pretty sure they had more fun than the younger ones. After they had used all the tokens we had purchased, they went around looking under the machines for lost tokens. Because this was not the first time to do this they came prepared with long spoons from home. I think they found 60 tokens between the 4 of them. Yes, it is a little embarrassing to see them crawling around on the floors
with spoons but they loved the challenge.
Saturday night the adults got away for a date night. We went to the Cheesecake Factory and then a movie. Oh, how I love the adult time away. It was great to chat and laugh together.
Of course, all good things must come to an end. 10 days after they arrived, LeAnn and her boys were leaving. It is always sad to see family go. I hate this part the most. We loved getting to be with them and are so grateful for their sacrifices to come.
