Snow cones, Swimming in Terra Haute, Ice Blocking

Summer is continuing to zoom past us. As of today, we have 8 days left before school starts.  We are trying to live everyday to it's fullest. Trying to complete our summer "bucketlist".
We found a yummy snow cone stand nearby so we have been there often over the last couple weeks.

The weather has been rather hot the last week so that means more swimming for us. Our neighbor Leslie grew up in Terra Haute (about an hour away) and invited us to go spend the day at her mom's home. This place is like a resort. We went last year and the kids have talked about it all year. We were pleased to be invited back this year. We sat by the pool for 9 hours non-stop. Leslie's mother, Nancy, kept us all fed with yummy sandwiches, pasta salad, and fresh fruits. We were spoiled.

Abby also took pictures at the pool. She got some great shots:
Kate and Brayden enjoying some watermelon.
(Don't mind that hot pregnant woman in the background. Wow, there are some things I miss about me being the only photographer. One is, me never being in the background eating.)

Every summer the youth group in our ward goes ice blocking. It is basically sledding down a large hill on a big chunk of ice that has been made in the freezer. It is a bit dangerous in my opinion but the kids seem to enjoy the adventure.
